Watch the 1995 A Little Princess (the gifset you reblogged) if you ever get the chance! There are a few changes from the book (the ending in particular) but it is so beautiful , I love the book but I love the movie just as much :)

omg, you should watch the 90s a little princess, IT IS AMAZING.
All right then, noted! I’ll have to see if it’s on Netflix. :)
In the Heights, Fun Home, and Finding Neverland!
1. Fun Home
2. In the Heights
3. Finding Neverland (still haven’t seen but I know I will love it)
Send me three musicals and I’ll rate them

I couldn't believe it when I saw the pointed hoods. My immediate thought was 'evil-' and then when it was revealed that they were suffragettes? I thought, now wait a minute...we're going to fix this, right? But no. I COULD NOT. Believe it. I loved your review-every point you made crossed through my mind-and the pointed hood aspect especially leaves me baffled at the current state of the fan base. How is anyone okay with this?
If you don’t mind, I’d like to publish this ask just so people can see your insightful comment.
Because that was my thought, too: “We’re going to fix this, right?”
No. Like I said in my review, I really tried to go into this with an open mind.
But I guess suffragettes are evil. Or at the very least irrational and condone murder.
And people in the fandom are actually going around calling themselves the hooded figures, a Sherlock “cult” if you will. But I’m not sure half of them realize it’s so, so degrading to women. I’m more disgusted with the show than I have ever been.
Don't worry about the weather posts. I'm terrified of tornadoes as well-there was a chance that we were going to move right near Tornado Alley years ago, and I freaked out. Even thunderstorms scare me. If I thought there were sirens going off, I would be stress blogging like crazy!
The good news now is that we won’t be getting any tornadoes here, but some pretty strong storms are going to be coming in very soon. I’ve grown up in tornado alley all my life so I’m used to the stress, but I certainly don’t like it.
I LOVE Some Like it Hot, we used to watch it all the time, that was the funniest movie of my childhood.
It's probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen - and the movie that made me fall in love with billy wilder <3
