I love the zombie au, it's brilliant! I'm ashamed to say I only started reading it, when most people write zombie au's it usually ends up ooc, but yours had me hooked from the beginning! And it's still in character! I can't wait for the next chapter! (Sorry if this didn't make sense!)

(isn't my HC) Imagine Steve inviting Bucky along on outings with Sam, and Bucky refusing each time. When Steve finally confronts him about it, Bucky says that he can't face the other man after ripping out his wings. Steve is confused for a minute (it's just tech, after all), until he realizes that Bucky thinks the wings were a part of Sam's body, like his own prosthetic. And it takes like 2 hours of explaining and an examination of Sam's back to prove to Bucky he didn't rip off an actual limb.
