These are pics of the UK in the winter of 1962/1963. The same winter that the beatles were driving hundreds of miles to a gig and back, and huddling for warmth in the back of a van, and Mal drove them up the motorway without a windscreen, and George drove them off the road in Scotland where they were doing a tour in the very coldest bit of the very cold UK in the very middle of winter.
