RWBY World Questions

What is your favorite place in the rwbyverse? Why?

Do you think Menagerie is actually overcrowded, and if so, how is it crowded. If not, how would you describe the population size being?

Things we can assume or know as fact:

-Menagerie is two-thirds desert that is uninhabitable due to dangerous wild life.-It is more crowded than cities. -Faunus!! Are!! Everywhere!!-Comparable to Australia. Australia has about 22.29% of the Earth’s population.-Definition: A collection of wild or foreign animals kept especially for exhibition. -Safe Haven-> lots lots lots of faunus  come here for protection. -Millions of people are in Remnent. (Not billions) For the sake of averaging let’s go with 500 Million. And honestly, I don’t even think it’s that. (Later I downscale it to a more probable number, 100 million)

So let’s use these facts for evill, um. good. I definitely said good..:

There are four cities, one unmentioned landmass (currently presumed to be uninhabited) and Menagerie. So let’s take the 500 million from earlier and math some stuff out. Since we know that there are more people on Menagerie then in a city. Let’s say that each city has 19.25% of the population. (100%-23%(Mengarie)= 77% /4 Cities = 19.25% in each city). That leaves for about 96,250,000 people in one city (Which is a LOT but keep in mind that we assumed that there were 500 million. If we assumed a smaller number, like 100 million, there would only be 19,250,000. Which is way more likely and comparable to a city like New York.) 

Using our two numbers, 500 and 100 million people, we can assume that Menagerie has about 115,000,000 or 23,000,000 people on it. Which either way is a lot for an island smaller than Australia(whose population is just over 23 million). 

So my personal opinion is that yeah, it is overcrowded, but it wouldn’t be if the other two-thirds were inhabitable. I think, and from here on this is just my guessing, but that there are a lot of houses with large families in them and not a lot of space otherwise.
