It wasn't unheard of to not hear anything from the Commander of Esteldin when she was on a mission. But that wasn't the case this time. For the only mission planned was a trip to Rohan with Aragorn to meet with Éomer and his cousin. Normally on time, concern started to grow when only three out of the four participants actally arrived.
There was a frown forming on the Dúnadan Chieftain's face as he saw Éomer and Theodred approach but still no sign of his second. And yet a tiny suspicion was stirring in his mind, for few had actually heard from the gender-fluid Ranger since her last mission.
A mission that Hal had finished, while not looking very well.
He knew her well enough by now to know that she had a tendency to hide when ill or hurt. For it had been a complaint oft made by his foster father and others of his kin. A hand waving in front of him made darkened stormy blue eyes blink, before refocusing on the two cousins.
"My apologies- I was distracted with another matter."
