Just realised that Lor’themar spent his Winter Veil/Christmas with Thalyssra in Suramar, which is sweet. Also makes sense as Silvermoon is apparently, still half a wreckage and swarming with undead…15 years later…

Which makes me wonder, all things considered, can’t the Nightborne setup a mini portal network between his room in Silvermoon and Thalyssra’s in Suramar.

Like I get they simply don’t have time sometimes, but having stupid number of portals is very much in-universe canon for World of Warcraft. Heck there are now portals between the realm of the living and literal death! The commute between them should be the least issue, ESPECIALLY with Nightborne and Occuleth working on the teleportation network.

That was prolly the only thing I didn’t feel convinced about when Lor’themar and Thalyssra complain about not being able to spend time together. You can literally make little custom hearthstones to each other. Rommath would prolly make them for you, he was close to teleporting Lor’themar straight into Thalyssra’s thighs in A Moment in Verse cos Lor’themar kept delaying.

I’m hoping going by the Winter Veil comic, they are taking steps to spend more time together in general. Heck with the Midnight expansion more than likely corrupting the Sunwell and possibly making Silvermoon entirely Void corrupted, the Blood Elves would likely need to evac and they’re prolly can settle quite comfortably for a bit in Suramar. So hey it’s good Lor’themar’s getting comfy at his wife’s place.
