Ok i have a theory based on the teaser; Shipwreck getting-along time. The storm scene, Ed coming out of the sea, fighting soldiers on the beach, the tent in the woods. Obviously they're still in love, but it'd provide good Necessary Circumstances for Ed to be around Stede with how things currently are. Maybe?

listen it's not just the beach it's the CAVE we didn't see it in the teaser but they ALL posted that fucking cave on their social media last year it HAS to be something special and i could see it tie in with this
