It’s #SundayFunday! We will be busy packing boxes today, as our house is officially off the market - SOLD! ‼️ . But we wanted to introduce you to Lincoln. Lincoln spent many cold nights on his own as a stray in Jan/Feb this year. Animal control came out and couldn’t catch him. When we found out about him, we couldn’t allow him to spend another night in the cold. Chickens descended from jungle fowl, you know! So on February 21st, we went out to try our luck. With Chance assisting, we were in and out in under 30 minutes. He was very skittish, but Chance (our alpha), was able to corral him up against the house for us to grab him. The lady asked us if our rooster was TRAINED! 😆 Chance is the best. 💖 . Lincoln spent some time indoors learning to trust us while we waited on a fecal and then went to quarantine in a heated coop. Now, he’s transitioning into the bachelor flock! He is beautiful isn’t he?! Welcome Lincoln! You will always be warm, safe, and loved. 😊 . #rescuerooster #Lincoln #winterrescue
