Day two rolls around with no update from Blackwood, and Nancy is pissed. This stupid case is ninety percent online sleuthing, which usually isn’t too hard when she has the proper resources. Her only resource right now is the god-forsaken dinosaur game Google Chrome is trying to soothe her with while her computer desperately searches for some kind of connection.

She almost laughs. She guesses she can relate.

35. What’s your favorite fic you’ve posted? And 37. What’s been the hardest fic to write?

my favorite fic i've ever posted, that's tough.

for bellarke, probably bound by the secrets we share. it was such a test for me as a writer and i just really loved the process and how the story turned out and it holds a special place in my heart. honorable mention to endurance: mecha, which i wrote with @anniebibananie, again because it was special, it was a different format approach to writing and a blast of a process to write it with someone.

for nace, i obviously haven't published a lot but my favorite thing is definitely claw-fee shop, even if it's a wip. i just adore it, i love it so much. and an honorable mention to truth or dare!

now for hardest to write:

for bellarke, i think baggage claim and teacher's pet. because both started as one offs, prompts and then i had a desire to do more with them, so neither one really had a good outline or plan and were messy at times.

for nace, i guess probably surrounded by my favorite view, because it was the first long-form fic i had written in almost 4 years and i was really worried about the process and felt rusty and like i lost some magic i felt i used to have. but i was ultimately extremely proud of the end result.
