From your very first Nancy Drew fic I’ve been obsessed with your writing. I was so excited to dig into the world of Firefly for this story. In it the Drew Crew become the crew of the spaceship Florence led by their captain, Nancy (of course). On the lush planet Ceres for a simple job and some R&R, Nancy and her trusty pilot Ace visit a mysterious commune with some familiar faces. Chaos quickly ensues, drawing them closer than they’ve ever been. Will they be able to admit their feelings, and rescue their passengers?

“May I get a cup of the local tea?”
“It isn’t teatime!”
“Nancy, you’re here! Do you have time for a treatment? Is Ace with you?”
Nancy marched over to the tub and pulled the mask from Bess’ face none too gently.

Post-s4 finale. Nancy and Ace deal with their fears after breaking their death curse. As good as things are right now (and they are so, so good), they are different to how they were before Temperance’s spell. Months of heartbreak and pain, the feeling of being betrayed by the person you love the most, don’t simply evaporate overnight. No matter how much they might wish it would. And that’s just something they’re going to have to talk about.
