Winwin & WayV - Overworked
“Hey, why don’t we take a break and sit down…” Kun said quietly, approaching Winwin slowly before setting a hand on his shoulder.
The focus that had been on Winwin’s face was instantly replaced by a look of slight confusion. Kun simply shook his head lightly, wrapping an arm around Winwin’s shoulder. This wasn’t the first time that he had worked himself into the ground and it wouldn’t be his last.
The rest of the members instantly quieted down, glancing between Winwin and Kun as they tried to figure out what Kun had noticed that nobody else had. They quickly had their answer, however, when Winwin stumbled, held up only by Kun’s grasp.
Ten was quickly on Winwin’s other side, helping to keep him on his feet until they could get him somewhere more comfortable.

“What…” Winwin stammered as Ten helped him lay down on the couch in the lounge nearest to their dance studio. “What’s happening?”
Kun sighed as he placed a few pillows under Winwin’s feet, hoping to get his blood circulating back up to his head.
“I don’t know Sicheng, I was going to ask you the same thing?” Kun replied, kneeling down next to the couch by Winwin’s head and brushing his hair from his face before resting a hand on Winwin’s forehead, relieved to find that he didn’t seem to be running a fever. “You’ve been shaky and disoriented all day, then I looked over and you were as white as the wall…”
“Oh…” Winwin said, looking up at the ceiling and scrunching his nose as if he was trying to recall what Kun was telling him before giving up. “Really?” was all he could get out before his eyes fluttered closed.
“Yes, really” Kun replied, smiling sadly. It was one thing if Winwin was purposely pushing himself too far, but a whole different thing if he hadn’t actually realized.
Ten instantly chimed in, stuffing an extra pillow under Winwin’s feet. “Have you been sleeping okay? And eating?”
Winwin scrunched his nose again, once more deep in thought. “I don’t really know…”
Ten rolled his eyes out of Winwin’s field of view before sitting down by his feet.
“If you don’t know then I’d assume the answer is no?” Kun asked gently. The last thing he wanted to do was overwhelm Winwin when he was feeling so poorly.
“It’s just…I don’t know. I feel like I’ve missed a lot. I wanted to catch up” Winwin said with a sigh, draping a hand over his eyes as the room started to spin around him.
“I hate to break it to you, but you haven’t really missed all that much. It’s been pretty slow around here if you haven’t noticed” Ten replied lightly, trying to calm Winwin down. Kun nodded in agreement, giving Winwin’s hand a light squeeze.
“Alright, Sicheng, we’re going to go finish practice. There’s only a couple hours left” Kun said as he stood up, followed by Ten. “We’ll come get you once it’s time to go home, okay?”
Winwin suddenly tensed at that, trying to get up before Ten stepped in and pushed him back down.
“No, seriously, I’m feeling okay now! I can finish up practice!” Winwin’s eyes were wide and flustered.
“You’ll do absolutely nothing of the sort. Try and get some sleep, okay?” Kun replied in his “leader” voice. Winwin didn’t dare argue with him about it. Instead, he simply closed his eyes, sinking back into the couch.
“Sleep well. We’ll see you soon” Kun added, absolutely certain that Winwin hadn’t even heard him as he was already fast asleep.
