A Day In Solaria

A Mother’s day piece overdue by one year :’V gosh.

Stella in Almost Magical headcanon, has grown into her role as queen of Solaria, and her role as a mother of five. The social pressures of ruling in the earlier years of her reign had toughened her up. She’s become more than competent.  And- she still got time for fashion week. Ayyyye. 

I’m sorry that this is what ive been working on instead of the webcomic. It’s due to the kind of payoff, i suppose. This is rather short whilst the webcomic update is still halfway through the comic. 

I hope you like this! <3 Webcomic... I know... we getting there. I’m very glad this is out of the way... Work life is no art life. Lord, please let me get through 2019.

Black Magic - Diane

Hello! Another Black Magic character... Diane, the eldest daughter of Brandon and Stella! She’s also the cousin of Elysia- you know, the redhead I posted a while back who is supposed to be Ogron’s daughter?

Anyways, Diane is the fairy of comets, and by the time Black Magic begins, she’ll be twenty five, just a few months older than Elysia. Diane is a Believix level fairy, a total perfectionist, and does not act well when put under pressure. She’s got a temper on her (most likely her mother’s influence), and a force to be reckoned with when it comes to hand to hand combat (her father trained her). Thanks to her uncle Ogron, she’s also skilled in magical combat. She’s really close with her father, former Queen Luna (Stella’s mother), and her aunt Cloe (Ogron’s wife).

Skylar WIP. I haven’t drawn any of my winx kids in so long! And they look a lot different in this style so I’m trying to practice them all. First set will be all the kids at the start of Winx Next Gen story, and then all of them at the end (since the timeline of the story covers almost a decade)

I want to find something consistent with my art. I haven't ever been good at realistic or very serious art, so I want to find a simple style that can still tell serious stories. Mostly because my Winx Next Gen has some more serious content. I'm using tween Stephen a lot for my practice. I like where ever this style is taking me, both because it's easy and fun but not too round or silly.

Winx Next Gen: Talia

Sky and Bloom’s middle child Talia, Fairy of Water! 

She looks young huh? Well that’s cuz she is! (In this picture she’s about 10 or 11)

Talia is a child prodigy. She could do a basic transformation at 9 years old (In my fanfic most fairies can begin basic transformations at about 12 or 13 kinda like puberty lol) She gets a Charmix by 12, and has her Enchantix by the end of her freshman year (In my fanfic most fairies stop at their Enchantix as well. They don’t have a million forms like in the show. Some very strong fairies can reach a form called Mystic, but it is very rare. All the original winx have reached mystic form except for Stella by the start of the fic) 

She is beautiful without even trying. She has incredible magic, strength, and skill, which everyone expected since Bloom is her mother. She is also incredibly intelligent, taking advanced courses since she started going to school. She is perfectly polite and charming to everyone she meets. Everything she does she does to perfection and beyond , and everyone admires her.

Despite all that, Talia is far from the perfect person people think she is. Her politeness and charm can feel fake if you look hard enough, and that’s cuz it is. She is very detached emotionally, lacking the warm heartedness and empathy of her mother. She doesn’t enjoy most human interaction, and can be very cold, manipulative, mischievous, and sometimes down right cruel. She is very bored with life and with people. Despite her talent, she sometimes wishes she wasn’t a fairy at all.

Winx Next Gen:Introductions

All my pieces introducing the children of the winx club! Long post, be prepared! (All these moments actually take place before the fic begins)

BLOOM&SKY’S KIDS:

Aiden’s 7th birthday. For some reason every time I take a picture with my siblings I end up looking in the wrong direction. I decided Skylar would share the same fate

STELLA&BRANDON’S KIDS (SORT OF):

From left to right: Stella-Maria(aka Maria, 8),  Stephen (6) 

Obviously Stella-Maria isn’t their biological child. She was actually the daughter of Stella’s favorite cousin, Esther. These two were as close as sisters, so close that Esther named her daughter Stella-Maria, and made Stella her “fairy” godmother. But after an accident kills both Esther and her husband, Stella becomes Maria’s legal guardian. Stella and Brandon love her so much, that they eventually adopt Stella-Maria as their own. Prince Stephen IS their biological child, he is a perfect little prince charming–in almost every way. He is very weak physically. Stella’s Great Aunt often blamed it on the fact that Stella cursed the family bloodline by marrying someone “non royal”. But he is their perfect little sun child, and they love him to the moon and back.

FLORA&HELIA’S KIDS:

Twins are such a great surprise aren’t they? Especially two sets! Lol poor Sage. Mom promised next time she’d get a nice little sister after the first two boys were born. Well, Jasper is quiet at least.

MUSA&RIVEN’S KIDS:

Poor Kotone. He isn’t happy with his sisters today!Don’t worry, they are actually very close and loving siblings! Musa’s genes are strong, but the daddy’s girls have daddy’s eyes.Kotone doesn’t enjoy fighting or sports (despite having an enormous skill in both), and it leaves his relationship with his father tense, but he’s very close to Musa. Aika is a princess. Honoka can be a princess, but she can get rough and play rough when she wants to. She leaves the pink behind when she gets older, but don’t be fooled. She will always have her soft heart. They have their Dad wrapped around their fingers.

TECNA&TIMMY’S KIDS:

From top to bottom?lol: Timothy Jr. (7), Zoe (1)

Timothy Jr. usually goes by Jr or Tim. Zoe is eventually going to need very thick glasses.They’re both just as sweet as they look. And despite being six years apart, they are the perfect loving siblings! I attempted a super simple(akacrappy) background. In case you can’t tell the chair and the crib/pod are floating. The future is crazy. And yes, Jr did draw those pretty(crappy) pictures for Zoe because “Laying in a crib is probably boring, so I should draw her pictures to look at”.
