it's the stupidest au, but (some of) the phantom thieves as werewolves jn thr metaverse (ryuji, akira, shiho), and it's half crack and half serious. Werewolves are common knowledge but oppressed, akira is bit by one in human form during the full moon and turns into some sorts fucked up oje instead (maned wolf) and goes on a terrified mad dash through the woods until he's found by some kind other wolves (they're all sakamoto's, Ryuji has a huge extended family and they all love him)
Ryuji is fuck-off large in the metaverse, large enough that Ann rides on his back for a while in mementos and Morgana rides on akira; the monabus doesn't come out till after yusuke comes along, but goes away again after makoto (ann rides sidesaddle and yusuke takes her spot on ryujis back)
It's got Packbonding and oppression and shiho as Ryuji's n-th cousin X removed and indont have mhch plot for it, it's super self indulgent
