Maggie was out at the club feeling herself. After not understanding her dreams, she got all dressed up and was shaking it out on the dance floor. She walked up to someone and touched their arm gently. âHi. Oh sorry. I thought... I thought you were someone else. Well. Hello anyway. Youâre cute.â she giggled, clearly a little drunk already.

Angelo: Hey.
Angelo: Talking to me about literally anything would be great. I ran out of fucking chocolate and I need something to distract me. Something other than food.
Angelo: The days are so much longer. They went from flying by to taking forever just get get through an hour. The hell is up with that?
âThe local taco place put out a promotion of free tacos for couples willing to kiss in front of them. Does that sound a bit weird and voyeuristic to anyone else? ... but also free tacos. So I think the point Iâm trying to make here is: you and me, free taco date on Valentineâs Day. You in? Iâll even take this ring off if that helps. Free taco beats plastic ring any day.â
This wasnât the first time Freddy had been kicked out someoneâs apartment before even having a chance to get dressed but it seemed he hadnât learned his lesson as here he was again. He was starting to think he was never going to shake this relationship though, if he were being honest, he wasnât really trying that hard. Standing outside her place, it took him a few seconds to realise he was still barefoot. Just as he was about to knock on the door and do a little grovelling, more for the sake of getting his stuff back than anything else, the door opened and his shoes came flying out to hit him straight in the face. âOw, fuckâ he groaned, turning a little and eventually noticing the person whoâd witnessed the whole thing. âEr...â he began, glancing down at his clothing, or lack of it, in a surprisingly casual manner. âGood morning.â
When he first got the message, Seth was smiling down at his phone, looking up at the person heâd been talking to and holding up a finger. âHold that thought for just a second, alright?â he said, flicking open the message from his landlord and friend before a confused expression drifted over his face which quickly turned into worry. It was just a moment before he got his expression under control again and looked up at the other. âSorry, I just had to read that. Anyway you were saying? Something about... your cat? Okay I swear I was listening before but I forgot what it was we were talking about.â
She probably should have taken Pluto out more, Zoey recognized as she carried the little cat in the carrier on the way back from the vet. Deciding to walk the trip might have been a mistake but at least she could give the kitten a chance to have some fresh air for a change. At least thatâs what Zoey had thought as she let the kitten out on the grass. There was very little fear from her of the cat running away since sheâd given it plenty of chances before and still it stayed. But now Zoey looked back up from where sheâd let her attention drift for a moment to watch the kitten running at a full sprint towards another figure until it had stumbled and fumbled itâs way affectionately into the otherâs lap. âOh goddammit, Pluto,â Zoey called after it, grabbing her things as she made her way over to the person. âSorry... she just... she likes people. I guess I donât have enough visitors for her to meet or something. Iâll take her back if you want.â
Wesâs dream made him happy to be himself. His body, his home, his everything. There were days where he would do anything not to be him, but today he was happy. He was humming and singing a bit as  he walked to the coffee stop, humming along to a tune in his head at a stoplight, when he turned to the person looking at him. âWhat? Have you never seen a grown man hum before?â he teased, with a little bit of a grin.
