Hello! I'm in love with your blog. Just sayin'. It brightens up my day without fail. I have question that you just HAVE to answer. So when Artemis dies in TLG and is revived six months after, what do you think happens? Does he still have his superior intellect? Or maybe other memories? Does he cope with the fact that he is now living in a clone's body?

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD (AKA GO READ TLG ALREADY, PEOPLE)
I believe Artemis still retains his superior intellect because I think he just lost all of his memories from when he first started interacting with The People back in Ho Chi Minh City; I base my belief off of this because Holly starts the tale with the opening line of book one, so I'm assuming that's where his memories leave off. However, the memories clearly aren't all gone because he does recognize Holly, Foaly and Butler as his friends. Perhaps the explosion just worked as a fader (not a word, but bare with me) on his memories; you know, like when you have a crumpled up picture in your pocket, you put your jeans in the wash, and it comes out hardly recognizable or you erase pencil with an eraser but can still see the outline of what you originally wrote.
I don't think Artemis would have an identity crisis about living in a clone's body like the average person would (I, for one, would probably start itching at my skin & curl up somewhere to cry--it would be so weird). He's a man of science, and so I think he'd view the body as just a vessel for a complex network of nerves, muscles, tissues, and bones. As long as he has something to exude his genius personality (that looks good wearing an Armani suit), I think he'd be just fine :)
oh and then him and Holly ride off into the sunset on Foaly's back (heh) and live happily ever after (Butler runs off and marries his Sig Sauer)
