Of all the tribal/spiritual artists that have been appearing on this station, I think Byron Metcalf has been the best. These songs follow a formula and can be kind of repetitive, but Metcalf’s works tend to have something different about each one to make it stand out just a little. Wisdom Work follows in the tradition of all the previous spirit sound songs with all the elements that made those songs function but with just enough twisted up.

What part of the movie is it playing over: While meditating our protagonist has always seen visions of a bird that melts away before he can ever touch it. This time it runs away instead of fading away and he chases it through the forest of his mind which is an unnecessary shade of neon green. The bird is on a log now and our protagonist tries to creep up to it but it flies away. Flowers blooms from the spot the bird used to stand and he tries to touch them but they just wilt in his hand.
