@wisdomchosen asked: ❆ — Zelda and Joshua get trapped indoors during a snow storm
There was irony in this. There was fire laced in his veins born from the spirit of a long-forgotten bird of fire, one that had been birthed from the very fires of Din Herself. There was no flame that could burn him; he could walk through the heat of Death Mountain itself and be fine (though the smoke was an issue... and lava, while hot, was not the same as fire, and jumping into that would still end his life prematurely).
And here he was, trapped due to a blizzard.
The Phoenix would have been able to melt through the storm, but that was a power he still didn't fully understand and, in turn, couldn't really command.
Blue eyes stared out the window, taking in the expanse of white obscured his vision. It was just supposed to be a quite visit to the Zora - but he supposed it was their fault. They had been warned that the weather had taken a particularly harsh turn this year. It wasn't like they had entirely ignored the warning, but it was clear that neither the Queen-to-be, nor her fiance had thought it would be quite as bad.
"We're not going anywhere today." His words came out just a touch morose as Joshua finally looked away from the window. "We'd be buried in the snow if we tried to walk outside."
