Warnings: Alternate Universe where Lily Potter and some others are alive. I know some people do put a lot of weight in those differences characterisation wise, so I thought to mention it.

Genre: Romance.
Narrative: I had read Anachornism by Kayla/Kibatsu before this one, so I immediately got the same vibes and was waiting for the worse to happen.The whole story was awash with my expectations. Needless to say something else happened. The story is.... a little austere? I don’t know, the author isn’t much into making detail out of everything, but like I always prefer, it doesn’t feel incomplete. The pacing is nebulous, at times. It might feel like they are going too fast, and sometimes it stagnates, but it’s all done deliberately. For people that had read this part of my recs, you can see I always fancy a certain type of narrative.
Brief Character Breakdown: Harry might be OOC for some. He is much sober, quick on his feet, less clumsy and a tad wiser, but it makes sense, and he doesn’t feel like a different person. The same of the Severus that got magically erased so that the Severus we know took his place. I don’t even know how that works, you will have to read it to make sense of it because I didn’t quite understand it myself (I guess it was because my reading was tainted by my previous expectations).
My Opinion: A very particular take on the “Wish Upon A Star”. It does make you wonder “what if?”. The story is overall quite understated, but I think it’s lovely, and it’s a nice little read. The Snarry Games almost always had amazing entries, and with reason they became a staple of sorts for other fests, the quality was always high, and this story fits rights in, so I recommend it.
I have other Snarry Games stories that marked me for life, but I can always go back to most of them and enjoy them very much, this one included.
I have this things for one of them being confused with the world and coming to terms with it or remembering it. I know it sounds cheesy but I like drama.
