1.) I don’t have to pretend to like guys just because all the other girls like them. 2.) I don’t have to act less intelligent than I am so people will like me. 3.) It’s okay to be sensitive and compassionate. Just because people take advantage of it, doesn’t mean it’s a character flaw or weakness. 4.) Being depressed doesn’t make me selfish. 5.) Being borderline (I wasn’t aware that’s what it was at the time but still) doesn’t make me a bad person. 6.) It’s okay to need help. 7.) My opinion is just as important as anyone else’s. 8.)
