Matt sighed softly as he sat back his spell book. Of course all the harder spells needed hard to find ingredients, but that still didn’t mean he wasn’t going to try. He took a deep breath before setting up the crystals into place as well as mixing the ingredients needs for the spell to work. He glanced at his book to make sure he was doing it correctly before going back to mixing the ingredients. Matt had been a witch for over most of his life from what he could remember. He couldn’t really remember his parents, but had a younger sibling who he dearly loved but often kept away from for fear of them shunning him despite them being siblings.

However what he didn’t know, what that there younger sibling, was also a witch. A nature witch at that. While Matt never really found out what his main magic was, which was usually looked down upon in the covenant; Pidge on the other hand had found out almost immediately what there calling was. They had kept it a secret from Matt the moment they found out, mostly because they didn’t know what they would do if they were shunned by their only family.

Matt smiled as he finally finished mixing the ingredients and took the powder in his hand before he blew it over the circle of crystals set up. He started to speak in another language as he started up the spell, unaware of their younger sibling coming back from their own conjuring.
