Not gonna lie, Witch Beam going from Assault Android Cactus to Unpacking, then scarcely half a year later Ben Esposito going from Donut County to Neon White has gotta be one of the weirder cases of equivalent exchange I’ve ever seen.

The level of detail and minute arrangement the player can perform during Unpacking allows for an incredible degree of player expression, all while still maintaining limits on what they can and can't do. While some objects will fit more easily into certain places, the freedom provided to the player in terms of how they want to arrange their living space, down to the specific rotation of many of the trinkets and objects therein, makes this feel like a legitimate homemaking endeavor.

assault android cactus is a bullet hell game made by witch beam who also created unpacking!! its free with games with gold on xbox but its also on like every other console i can think of and steam too.

you unlock different androids over the course of the story and they all have different weapons / play styles. i mainly use starch!!

if u thought the androids were cool. THATS NOT ALL. GO BOSSES!!!!

i very much enjoy venom he might be my most obscure kin smh

theyre all very unique to fight and challenging in their own way

all the characters including the bosses all have their own unique personalities and i find them all very charming, you can also discover more about the world and the characters by unlocking entries on the extras menu!! ^_^

theres a lot of interesting lore in there and if youre interested in the story theres even more things on ask fm!!

i finished unpacking on the switch awhile back minus completing the sticker collection. let me tell you i have found a personal interest in games... cozy organizing. i'm sad that there isn't a sequel type or current interest to do so by this developer, but definitely looking into this gaming category! my brain turned off and i was glued to each level, the storytelling through objects and rooms were great, overall fantastic game imo.
