Took inspiration from both Elyon's comic and doll depictions for her face. I ended up going with an in between that retained the jewel-like quality of the comics whilst having a bit more life to them than the licensed dolls.

The last one, Halloween! It all begins here, with the first issue. One day, I was 10 yo, I saw this colorfull comics on the shelf and I asked my mom to buy it. It was different from anything I ever saw and it was italian. That thing shocked me, I was italian too and I had never saw a comics made in Italy, not one that looked like a manga, but different.

I was obbsessed with the style and I started to have some style preferences. I could identify who had draw that story or the cover!

I just have to thanks Elisabbetta Gnone, Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa for make me love comics and draw a lot in my middle and high school years, plus all my favorite artists who makes regular story for the issue.

I have to tell you that growing with this beautiful drawings make me hate the animated series, they just destroy the original story and change a lot of characters that I can't just look at more than 2 episodes. Sorry to my followers who loves the cartoon series, but I just can’t 💔
