Young (very young!) Phobos for my ✨AU AU AU✨

Death, he believes, is an argument against infinity.

Orphaned, Phobos came away with two things: a growing anxiety that would, in time, swell into paranoid delusion, and an irresistible urge to feel a living soul trapped inside of a dying body, as if it were a cage. He carried this desire through the years, yet never managed to understand its nature or where it came from.

Maturing, Phobos stopped inflicting harm on himself and on small, defenseless creatures. He turned against people instead.
