Thinking bout witches lately…
What if Jane foster was a witch and is pissed off by Loki's antics with Darcy as her apprentice and Eric is an irritated old warlock who still does sacrifices to the old gods. They're a weird family.
@mostie01
Loki’s expression was priceless and Jane wished in that very moment to have a camera at her disposal, but as usual in such situations, she had none. The god of mischief had clearly not expected to be so openly challenged. He had taken her warnings with one of his trademark smirks and had left it at that. He had simply called her ‘petty human’ and turned around. Jane, who was not only one hundred percent done with him, but also did not like to be insulted, had taken the chance when it presented itself.
Usually, the young witch was not one for such underhanded tactics, but the fact that her ‘opponent’ or rather, her challenger, was a god of lies and deceit, she would be forgotten. Also, witches were known for being sneaky.
Long story short, Loki did not expect the light fire blast to his back that sent him flying a few meters away, his scepter falling out of his hand. This had been Darcy’s cue. She was still in training and actually, Jane was not sure that the dark haired female would ever become a real witch - she forgot even the most easiest spells - but at least she put effort in her job and she was a valuable team member. Also, she had become a part of the family that the brown haired witch would not miss for anything in the world.
“Darcy, get the scepter to Erik,” shouted Jane. The hat wearing apprentice nodded and ran as fast as her legs would carry her.
Erik was a warlock once. He still possessed magic, it was not something you could use, but his stamina had lessened with age. It was natural. He still made sacrifices to the gods, he still casts spells to make his life a little more comfortable and sometimes he would even train Jane and on special occasions even Darcy. If there was someone on this planet, who could knew something about godly artifacts, then it would be Erik and Jane had absolutely no doubt that he would keep it both safe AND away from Loki.
Speaking of which, the raven haired male dressed in green had scrambled to his feet again. there was a lot of anger in his eyes, his mouth was opened in an ugly snarl.
“How DARE you?” he hissed and took a few threatening steps forward. It was not like the female human was afraid, she just had respect. She was dealing with a god after all. “How dare you challenge a god, you puny human.”
The sound of thunder rumbled loud in the sky. Jane allowed herself to let out a sigh of relief. Thor was coming and with him, her hopes of posing an actual challenge to the god of mischief, were raised greatly. She may be a good witch, above average really, but something told her that she was still no real challenge to Loki…
“Brother, leave her alone,” Thor’s voice thundered and a moment later, he appeared seemingly out of nowhere.
The brothers glared evilly at each other and it was clear what would happen now. Magic against physical combat, it would be a battle of the ages, searching its rival. The mortal human decided to stay out of this one. If she was honest with herself, then she did not actually want to hurt the raven haired god. He WAS a bad person, but surely there must be a reason for it and if there is a reason, there might even be a solution to bring him back on the right path again. Also, he WAS a wizard, in a way. He COULD use magic and therefore he was part of the family too… and family should not be hurt…
