Pacifica Elise Northwest: The Witch of Metal powers and personality

Inspired by @magixfairyix’s recent post, it would be nice to showcase Pacifica’s powers, mindset, and other skills.

By the way, Pacifica is a human witch from Earth

Powers

As the Witch of Metal, Pacifica has gained alot of versatile powers that will help her progress in this new stage of life

-Flight: flying, hovering, and a new way to move around.

-Metal creation: Pacifica can create metals with her own magic, ranging from the weakest of tins, to the strongest of tungsten (it takes more energy to create stronger metals)

-Metal transmutation: she can turn other objects and sometimes organic matter into metals, but only through extreme emotional turmoil. She can even turn other metals into different types of metals. She can’t turn people or animals into metal, though. Same rule applies for what metals she can create.

-Shielding: can project a magic shield around her or a distance to protect herself from oncoming attacks.

-Metal manipulation: she can manipulate any and all metals that are around her at will, only limit is what she can see. She can turn a fork into a knife, or chains into a physical shield. Anything she can do, she will do. Still applies the same limits

-other witch powers I forgot to mention

Skills

-Witch knowledge: Thanks to her attendance at Cloud Tower, Pacifica has gained a ton of skills and knowledge about the true magical nature of the universe. Potions, hexes, curses, transformations, the works. Very gifted for her age

-Economic knowledge: from her previous living in Gravity Falls, Oregon, Pacifica has not only a vast amount of wealth, but can also use it in ways only she can use it for. She understands stocks, the high percent, and investing on levels only her parents knew. But unlike said parents, Pacifica actually has a heart.

-Sass: she can be very sharp with her mouth when she wants to insult those who come after her or the people she cares about. It also works with her new hobby of hip-hop.

-Puns: Pacifica has a secret talent of puns that Icy, Darcy, and Stormy does NOT care for. It annoys everyone around her. Dipper once called her puns the same level of cringe as the superhero Chat Noir from Earth.

-Video Game skills: secretly played a lot of video games before she became a witch, which made her become competitor level in terms of skills. Can 1v1 almost anyone and win. She does have some rivals, though.

Backstory and Personality (TW: injuries, child abuse, blood, homophobia)

Shortly after the summer ended, Pacifica was thrown out of her house (through a window) because her parents, Preston and Pricilla found out their daughter was gay. She would have bled out in the woods when Icy, Darcy, and Stormy, who were on Earth and looking for the ring, stumbled upon her shivering self. Surprisingly, the trix healed her and was super thankful to them, unknowingly unlocked a new power within as she accidentally turned a tree branch into metal. The Trix wanted to take her home, but Pacifcia’s reaction was more then enough to take her with them back to Cloud Tower, where she was welcomed by Headwitchstres Griffin after learning why she’s there. She became a student and she joined the Trix, now viewing her three saviors as her sisters, with the other three sharing the same feeling.

Pacifica may seem like her snarky self as showcased in the summer, but in actuality, is scared to mess things up at Cloud Tower. She REALLY loves being a witch. She loves having magic, and she would really love to stay with her sisters for as long as possible. Pacifica also gets good grades thanks to Icy, Darcy, and Stormy helping her whenever she asks them for help. She wants to cause chaos with her sisters, but she understands that Icy, Darcy, and Stormy are not truly themselves as they were puppets by their ancestors. Pacifica later frees Icy, Darcy, and Stormy with the help of the Winx Club, a Specialist squad, and the company of light, forever altering their destinies.

Icy, Darcy, and Stormy saved Pacifica’s life, and Pacifica, in turn, saves their lives. She loves her new sisters so much, she would fight the ancestral witches themselves to save them.

Other facts

-Pacifica Northwest is Gay and ends up dating Mabel Pines of the Winx Club (sorry Dippifica shippers)

-Her diet turns to crap now that nobody can control her eating habits, so now she eats her TRUE favorite foods: fried anything

-She ends up as good friends to Dipper Pines. Gaming, mystery solving, and anything else.

-She was babysat years back by Wendy Corduroy and became her first true friend (shoutout to employedhamster on Blue Sky for letting me implement parts of her babysitter AU for Gravity Winx)

-Pacifica was tricked into going as Catra for a Halloween party and Mabel went as Adora (while Dipper went as Adam and Wendy as Teela). She secretly liked the cosplay.

“Love Spells” Preview

Hi, guys. I feel bad for making you all wait so long for a new installment, so I thought I’d share a little preview to prove to you that I’m still around and still working on new stories. 

Pacifica and Zoe were down in the basement while the witch mother was in the middle of giving her daughter another magic lesson. This time, the subject was transfiguration. “Now pay attention, Zoe,” she said, about to give a demonstration. She had a teacup placed on a stool next to her and then, with a twitch of her nose, the teacup turned into a living, moving mouse. She picked up the tiny rodent and nuzzled it against her cheek. “Okay, Zoe, you ready to- “

However, the young witch-in-training didn’t even seem to be paying attention. She had a dazed look in her eyes and an odd smile on her face as she seemed to be staring off into space. Her mom also noticed that she kept drawing little hearts on her desk.

Pacifica grinned, realizing why her daughter’s mind wasn’t on her lesson. She walked up and stood over her with her arms crossed and a knowing smirk. “What’s his name?” she asked, finally gaining the spaced-out girl’s attention.

“Huh? What? Who? Nobody!’ Zoe said in surprise, hiding the many hearts she had mindlessly drawn under her arms.

“I know that look,” her mom replied. “Blank eyes, goofy smile, absent-mindedly drawing little hearts on your desk. If there’s one thing that can distract even the most dedicated young witch from her magic training, it’s a crush. So… what’s his name?”

Zoe sighed. “I’m sorry, Mom. It’s just that there’s this new boy in my class named Joey Crichlow. He sat next to me at lunch today and gave me his pizza burger after I dropped mine on the ground. Isn’t that so sweet?”

“Very sweet,” Pacifica agreed.

“And get this. He’s a fan of DJ B.J. Jaydee, just like me! Can you believe it?!”

“What are the odds?”

“I know!” Zoe sighed again. “He’s so cool.”

Pacifica loved seeing her little girl so adorably enamored. It seemed Zoe was growing up faster than she realized. “Does he know that you like him?” she asked.

“Are you kidding? Of course not,” Zoe replied dramatically as if it was so obvious. “I can’t tell him I like him. Not until I know for sure that he likes me back. If only there was some way I could-“ Just then, the young witch got an idea. “Say, Mom. Is there some sort of love spell or something that you could teach me? One that I could cast on Joey to make him like me back?”

“Okay, yeah, no. Definitely not,” Pacifica answered firmly. “There’s no such thing as a love spell. At least not in the way that you’re thinking. There are some infatuation charms, but that’s not the same thing and no, I’m not gonna teach you those either. Love isn’t something you can force, Zoe. You have to let it grow and develop over time. That’s how it was with me and your dad.”

“Oh, sure,” Zoe scoffed. “You probably didn’t even need to use a charm or whatever on him. I mean, look at you. You’re gorgeous! I bet he was putty in your hands the minute he laid eyes on you.”

“Not quite.”

Pacifica decided it was time she told her daughter the full story of how she and her father got together so many years ago.
