A little doodle animation of witch Yuuri doing his potions🌟🌟
It’s 🎃 Halloween season 🎃 and I was hoping if you guys knew any fics where Yuuri or Viktor is a witch?
Hello Anon!
It is a really nice ask to answer, and very convenient! I really dug into the search for these fics, so I hope not only you but all our followers can enjoy this list:
My blossoming love, by TinyFrost @ofknivesandpointes. I really love this AU, that developed from @la-loom‘s beautiful and cute art. In this fic, Yuuri is a botanist/wizard that receives special seeds from Minako. The seeds happen to grow and turn into a flower-baby, the most cute creature you can imagine!
Viknik? Broomstick!, by elesssar. Yuuri notices his boyfriend is strange, throwing salt in some corners of the house, knowing the lunar calendar by heart and having stones attached to everything he owns. One day, he discovers why. (This fic inspired another one: It’s a Viknik sickfic, by iceprinceofbelair)
Now the fics I didn’t read yet, but sound fantastic!
Stuck on you, part of the Magic Moments series by GabzJones. Living in a world where magic is forbidden is hard. Victor is merely a humble store owner to those in the town, hiding his magic from all who visit. But the appearance of a kind Knight wasn’t something he was prepared for. Especially on a day when one of his experiments had gone wrong. This story has an explicit part 2! ; )
A cup of magic, by Cottone @v-katsuki written as part of the Viktuuri Reverse Big Bang 2017. This story is a coffee shop AU mixed with Kiki’s delivery service elements, in which Victor is still a figure skater and sometimes visits Yuuri’s shop for his coffee… literal magical drinks.
Charmed, I’m sure, by @adjit, also written for the Viktuuri Reverse Bang 2017. Yuuri is just a witch working in a small magic shop when suddenly, Viktor Nikiforov throws himself into his life asking about a charm, of all things.
Talking about Kiki’s delivery service, here’s an AU of this wonderful movie: Brew, by iceprincessvictuuri. Yuuri is a young and insecure witch that has to leave home, family and friends to start to practice his magic in a new town. The chapters are very short, and it looks like an adorable story.
(living legend)-(something in cyrillic I can’t write), by KristleTribble. An alternate universe where Viktor is a cursed warlock who lives a hermit’s lifestyle, isolated away from other people who fear his uncanny talent with magic. A strange young man visits him one night, requesting his help to save a dog’s life. Viktor, as he comes to learn who this stranger is, finds himself growing attached to him.
Dark divine arts in the hands of a fallen angel, by Bam4me. In which Yuuri is a natural born necromancer, one of VERY few in the world, and he’s not very well liked by a lot of the world because of it. This contributes to his anxiety disorder a lot and will later on be the cause of him hiding from people. But Victor thinks he’s a literal angel from heaven.
neighborly charms, by thishasbeencary @yoyoplisetsky as part of the Big Bang!!! on Ice. It’s just your normal love story set in an idyllic neighborhood full of witches, the friendliest poodle in the world and one pretty clueless chef.
Wow! That was a long list, right?! I hope everyone have fun with these wonderful stories!
*thinks that, now, there’s no doubt about this year’s costume*

a sunflower sending a kiss to little plant witch Yuuri from @ofviktor ‘s beautiful fallen star au, “in starlight we bloom” <3
big thanks to @estellie for her help in polishing this piece up and making it pretty c:
this is an au where yuuri is a witch who owns a flower shop and viktor is a pianist who wanders in there one day. yuuri’s magic is very in tuned with the earth and plants so he controls them with ease. but they’re also very tethered to his emotions.
“Viktor,” The way Yuuri says his name is filled to the brim with fond exasperation. “What have I told you about playing with the plants?”
Viktor grins sheepishly as he gently rubs his thumb against a piece of vine coiled around his left wrist. “Not to because they get easily excited around me?” He winced slightly at the tightening of a vine around his thigh. “I couldn’t help it. They’re so pretty!”
“You can never help it, can you?” Yuuri murmurs with a sigh before his eyes fall close. It’s only a few seconds until the vines are sadly relinquishing their hold on Viktor. Yuuri can hear their pitiful whines and can’t help but chuckle because he knows they’re pouting. The plants always love to tug at his heart strings but he isn’t giving in so easily this time.
Viktor shoots Yuuri a thankful look as he massages the sore skin of his wrists. “I love them,” He says fondly, reaching out to tenderly stroke a vine. Yuuri hears it purr in satisfaction and refuses to acknowledge the pleasant tingle running down his spine. “But I don’t understand,” Viktor says, his brow furrowed in confusion. “Why do they get so excited around me?”
It’s then that Yuuri’s cheeks lightly flush and he feigns a cough into his hand. “I think I hear someone at the front of the shop.” Yuuri replies, quickly diverting the conversation as he begins to walk to the shop front.
“I didn’t hear anything!” Viktor shouts after him. “Yuuri!”
A slight smile curves Yuuri’s lips as he places a hand over his chest.
He curses his plants for being so in tune with his emotions.
Inktober Day 3 : Witch Yuuri So, I'm gonna do the Inktober (Yay) but I can assure you that it will be impossible for me to draw every day since, you know : school, a school trip in the middle of October and holidays ^^' So you don't have to worry if some (or a lot) of Inktober days are missing !
I’ve always loved AUs where Yuuri is a witch and usually my ideas of this consist of him:
being able to control plants and the earth.
being able to speak to them and hear their thoughts.
being well versed in healing spells and using his powers for good.
coming from a family of witches which are from his mother’s side.
having good control of his magic but can lose it whenever he feels extremely high emotions. This wasn’t fun when he was a toddler due to tantrums that ended up with their home nearly being squished by heavy vines.
becoming a florist due to his love of plants.
possibly meeting Viktor who is also a user of magic or amazing Viktor with his powers.
i wrote more witch florist yuuri and pianist viktor!
“What’s your favourite flower?” Viktor asked on a rainy Saturday afternoon. He had finished the last rehearsal for his concert performance tonight. There would be one more before the concert hall opened but Viktor was confident he was ready. Yuuri had tried to chase him out an hour ago, hell-bent on making sure Viktor got in all the practising that he could. But Viktor only regarded him with a soft smile before saying, “Don’t worry, Yuuri. I’m ready.”
So two mugs of tea had been made and they situated themselves in the shop front. The door to the flower shop open to allow the fresh scent of spring rain that fell over the city. The plants sighed happily at the change of air that had once been so stale. They rejoiced and Yuuri swore he had seen the tulips reach with their petals towards the gently breeze that cascaded in.
You’re welcome, Yuuri had thought when a clamour of thank-yous crashed into his mind. It was welcoming and Yuuri had hidden his smile behind his mug as Viktor turned to look at him with questioning eyes.
Now he was behind the counter and Yuuri was gently stroking the leaf of the small budding plant that rested on it. It gave a pleased hum at his touch and the sound washed over Yuuri in the form of a certain warmth. His concentration moved when he heard Viktor speak but he didn’t catch the question.
“Sorry?” Yuuri asked.
Viktor laughed softly before repeating, “What’s your favourite flower?”
“Oh goodness,” Yuuri murmured with a shake of his head. “Really?”
“Hey, I’m curious,” Viktor said, shrugging. He was seated on top of the counter with his mug of tea in his hands. “I understand that you love all of them but...there’s got to be one that you like.”
It had never occurred to Yuuri that he would have a favourite. He had a special relationship with all plants, no matter how nasty some of them may be. Yes, the roses were a bit uptight and vines were particularly tricky to deal with, he didn’t find himself hating them.
He could feel the tension on him now. All the plants in the shop turning to look at him with expected and curious auras. His cheeks flushes underneath the attention and he turned his gaze back to the small budding plant on the counter.
“I don’t have one.” Yuuri answered after a moment’s silence.
“Really?” Viktor asked, not surprised but curious.
Yuuri nodded. “When I was younger, my mother taught me about all the plants and what made them special,” He pursed his lips slightly. “My magic is mostly tethered to them as it’s connected to the earth,” The plant underneath his fingertip preened slightly at his attention and Yuuri smiled. “I can’t choose a favourite. Even if they hurt me...they’re mine and I love them.”
That was all that Yuuri gave and soon silence fell upon them again.
“I see.” Viktor replied, lifting the mug to his lips and taking a small sip.
Two days later, Yuuri found a cherry blossom on the counter as well as a note.
When he read it, the smile that graced his lips was impossible to hold back.
My favourite flower is the cherry blossom because it means gentleness and kindness. It reminds me of you.
-Viktor x
in the witch au, yuuri definitely conjures up flowers out of thin air to cheer up a sad and/or tired viktor. it perks him up immediately and viktor keeps every single flower that yuuri makes for him.
