Three hundred years ago, the Covens fell. Sovereign institutions of magick that had stood for a millenia, laid low by the Hounds of Víla, a viscous order of witch hunters that arose in the wake of the great tragedy at Mírgrave.

What witches survived took to the forests and mountains, scattering, forsaking bonds long held in the hopes of surviving. A brave few settled at the fringes of society, as apothecaries and wisefolk, eking out what meager lives they could.

Your mother is one such witch, the farmers nearby willing to look the other way in return for services only she can provide. This isolated existence was lonely, of course, but for love, at least, you never wanted. Until the Hounds caught wind of a hedge witch.

Your home is gone, your mother missing. Your only option is to run and hope to outpace the Hounds on your trail.

The daughter of an innkeeper. She agrees to hide you while you figure out what to do next, on the condition that you take her with you. Insatiably curious. She wears her heart on her sleeve.

Appearance: Tall and chubby with pale, densely freckled skin. Shoulder length, frizzy red hair and large brown eyes.

Contemplation of the seal and course of action, with Queen Lilith

The Pathworking Guide can be saved, recorded for later use, or cloned during practice.

If it is to be employed in a group session, a member of the group can read it and guide others step by step through it.

Although the preparations for the altar depend on the content of the user, the use Black candles and incense are recommended as food and the Liquidambar (Sweetgums) for demons.

Prepare the altar, light candles and some incense.

Sit in a comfortable position and place the seal in front of you. Smear the seal with drops of the Liquidambar (Sweetgums).

Meditate on the seal, allowing the energies of demons to fill the room.

When you are able to visualize the seal in your mind and consider yourself ready, repeat the following words:

Lilith Arachnid!

The mother of all demons!

Commander of the armies!

Soul devourer, I dive into the depths of the earth, and penetrate into your wet caves, under the guidance of one of your servants

Allow me to see through your nets to reach your chambers, owner of the shadows of death, I implore you to bring me the occult knowledge and to enter me into the mysteries of darkness - the moon of Gamaliel! Let it be! He's Dracon, he's Megas!

Witchblood Connecting Covers #1-5

I had wanted to try drawing connecting cover for a long time, and I was thankful that Vault finally let me try it out with WitchBlood Matthew Erman (Writer), Lisa Sterle (Artist, Cover Artist), Gab Contreras (Colorist), Andworld Design (Letterer)

Trying to have each cover be stand alone, but also have a nice payoff when complete is tricky, but so much fun to do!

Covers are some of my favorite things to draw, I hope to do more cover work in the future!
