If I made a Witchcraft AU with a magic school, corruption, villain arc Pearl (Because the Scarlet Witch just fits), and a lot of focus on friendships, would anyone read it?

What if the reason Scott’s never been able to bring back Milo is that you can’t bring a dead person back to their own dead body? What if you need a living body instead? Many of the necromantic spells he uses require a sacrifice - something to die so that something else might live. Except that’s not it, really. The sacrifices cause things to die so that one might summon something undead. Maybe a living sacrifice is needed to summon something that’s not undead, but truly alive.

What if that’s the reason Bertha is holding the witch trials? What if, when they say the winner will become the next Supreme Witch, they mean the winner will become the living sacrifice, the host to bring her sister, the former Supreme Witch, back to life in the winner’s body?

So like are we all on the bandwagon that Bertha's sister was the Supreme Witch and he like. totally murdered her?

Cause just from what she told us I think that might be the case. Like she and her sister were students together and Bertha was always told how she was totally capable of being the Supreme Witch! She believed everyone!

But then their sister did something to betray them. Maybe she sabotaged them, maybe she framed them? Exiled them? Cursed them? Bertha's sister did something to take away their chances at being the Supreme Witch. So they murdered her :)

But the thing is Bertha's sister saw it coming. Maybe Bertha has always been a bit... extreme in zir ways. So she sent out letters to candidates who she saw fit to be the next Supreme Witch. And Bertha caught wind of this plan, so ze decided to hide zir past for the sake of hosting the events.

For what, though, you may ask?

Perhaps to gain all the magic it would need to take its sister's place :)
