Well well it’s Team Hunter having a good time! A rare sight truly.
Wowowow a redraw of Astaroth(Damian) and Māra! I’m actually really happy how they turned out, I did a whole bunch of witches spell art the past few days so I’ll post them!
Some quick sketch squads of some of my Witches Universe characters.
Team Hunter: Astaroth/Damian, Valarian, and Constantine
Witch Duo: Māra and Edana
The Dukes: Vepar, Bael, Azazel, and Paymon
The Reapers: Iku and Shina/Shinagami
Some historical character design tests with Prince Astaroth/Damian and Queen Māra of the Succubi and Incubi. A Witches Spell, the portion these two are from takes place in early 1700’s Salem so we have some classic European inspired designs as well as some inspired from their demonic origins.
Māra: A demonic entity from Buddhism, so I used 1700’s India as inspiration.
Astaroth: a christianized and demonic repurposing of the babaloynian goddess Ishtar, so I used the 1700’s Iraq as inspiration
