I was lying on a cliff top taking some pictures of Silene maritima (sea campion, dead man's bells, witches' thimbles, Devil's hatties) when I was joined by some of the other residents. Like these plants on Westray, Orkney, the puffins (Fratercula arctica) are cliff users during the breeding season but build a burrow to nest or use an old rabbit hole.
