Evie prided herself on having patience, more than most at least especially when dealing with the more annoying population of her school. While most liked Evie with her natural charm, there were still some who used jealousy to fuel their attacks toward her. Yet in the moment she could feel herself about to boil over, after all there was only so much she could take in one day. 

Red lips began to move as the begin of a curse left her lips, that is till she heard the blonde speaking near her. Her anger temporarily lessening as her interest peaked instead as she looked to the girl. A playful grin began to form on her lips, “Yes, but a curse might make me feel better. Do you wish to help?”

no,              he's  not,            but  his  lips  seal  in  the  familiar  grin  that  had  returned  from  her  question.                moments  before,         he  was  unfocused       -      aching  head  swimming  with  the  squeal of  tires  and  sickening  crash  of  breaking  glass.               it  must  have  been  a  nightmare.            at  least,           that's  what  he's  been  telling  himself.          it  was  too  real       -      too  familiar     -      and  yet  here  he  was,           standing  tall  in  the  hallway  in  perfect  health.              his  head  bobs  in  an  enthusiastic  nod  that  rattles  his  brain  and  makes  him  dizzy,           but  he  ignores  it  for  the  sake  of  comforting  her.         "of  course         -        i'd  remember  if  something  did,          wouldn't  i?"

      It was a far cry from the parties he was used to – practically tame in comparison to the parties he’d run to. Everyone was drinking, sure. Laughing and talking loudly? Sure. But there wasn’t a keg stand in sight or questionable recreational drugs to lose your mind with. It was a damn nunnery when he thought too hard on it. But that damn - delightful - Spellman convinced him to go along. And she had a face he couldn’t say no to. w e a k. 

      So he sat lazily sprawled across a couch - leg stretched out so no one else could settle in near him. Stone faced as he downed his third beer with a lazy pull. Watching people pretending not to watch him. Yawn. That is until a sudden drop of weight in his lap drew him back to the moment, eyes meeting an all too familiar coy look. The smile was infectious as he felt his own lips tugging upward - a hand dropping down low to curl ‘round her waist. Tame and proper under dozens of wide-eyed watchers. 

      “ Mmm, hey there, dollface. You come here often? ” he purred out, hand squeezing as he shifted. Leaning. Pressed tight to her with a lewd waggle of his brows and a drunken little laugh.
