Evie could feel the butterflies starting to flutter inside her chest when his tone lowered. God she really should not be entertaining this, she shouldn’t even be wanting this, wanting him. Yet being this close with him and hearing him laugh, made her seem to forget why she cared what the others might think of her. Eddie words made her laugh, but also want to know if he could back them up. Brown hues looking down to his lips as he spoke the last sentence, not being subtle with the shift in her gaze.
