Agatha All Along Show Review (Disney +)
I was told to watch this when it first came out but I won’t lie I was in a Marvel burn out. And the burnout was real, I didn’t want to think about anything Marvel. Like Loki was good and latter on I thought Deadpool and wolverine was funny but otherwise I didn’t want to hear about anything Marvel. This was partly due to Dr Strange multiverse.
So a year later I finally sat down and watched it and I can see why people, family, friends, random people at the time kept telling me to watch it. I went out of my way to not spoil myself. With the only thing I did get spoiled was that Death (lady death) was in it. witch I would say out of everything I could have been spoiled on, that was pretty trivle because I wasn’t told who she was or when she would pop up. So it kind of didn’t matter.
Agatha is a show you should watch after Wanda vison witch I would recommend anyway and the ending to dr strange multiverse of madness. I personally think you could watch the first ten and the last ten minutes and not put your self though a horrible movie.
I do like witch culter and pop culter so the themes of this show was very fall Halloween and a perfect amount of mystress and dark. A well balanced cast and no episode felt slow, it had a good beginning a good roll and a well done end. Agatha gets broken out of wandas spell by a masteryus young man, the go collect a set of misfit witches to make a coven and there journey begins. This is just much about the mysterious young man as it is Agatha.
I will say as good as this show is, I’m glad I waited this wasn’t something I wanted to watch while not being in the right head space. One of the reasons being I had to think of allot of comic book knowledge like I always do watching adoptions to almost anything I think about the seoruse material. Witch this drew from allot of marvel plots I loved through the years. But during my burn out I wasn’t reading marvel, did not want to think about the comics either I just felt annoyed and bleh. So know given some time, I want to go re-read and catch up on some current comics. A want a thrive to be interested in something.

This being about, Wiccens aka Billys Maximoff’s story, and him finding himself was one the best current depts of a new charter I’ve seen in a while. As well as the way they explained the very complicated story while not getting to crazy, made me feel the shows writing team understood the source matrle as well as the mcu movies current lore and mixed them well together. Agatha being our main perspective was a good choice, because her journey had allot of its own mystery and she’s a genrley interesting charter. The ending of them going off to go find tommy, witch will lead us into Vision quest, makes this journey feel existing and well worth it again.
I will give this 5/5 Pumpkins 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
I am not going to binge everything at once but I do have a big list of MCU movies and shows to catch up on.

Kiki's Delivery Service (1985) Book Review
Kiki’s Delivery Service is by Eiko Kadono translated by Emily Balistrieri, narrated by Kim Mai Guest in the audio version I listened to.
I will say as much as I love the Hayao Miyazaki movie I will for the most part ignore it and not talk about it but I will say if you loved that movie as much as I did reading or listening to this translated story is highly recommended. Its always good to give the source material of something you love just as much love and care.
Kiki is a bright and intelligent young lady with many choices in front of her. Growing up is a major theme of this story. A young ya coming of age story. Her and her mother come from a long line of witches and magic. Both are dying out. The presser is on KiKi to Carry on family tradition. Though her parents do ask a lot if being a witch really is the path she wants to go down. Giving her the option to say no. Kiki enjoys flying but not so much other stuff her mother tries to teach her. Growing herbs and other plants to brew. I feel like a lot more was explained of the relationship Kiki had with her parents, particularly her mother, Kokiri.
“I’m me, I'm a new witch” -Kiki
Gigi sorry Jiji (as a kid I thought was G I not J I ) is the best kitty ever and is a good partner to help, aid and guide Kiki. Kind of like her own Jiminy Cricket just less worried about mortality and more focus on her personal growth and in helping Kiki making choices for herself. Having a second opinion is always important.
I think if you want a YA book about witches, traditions and is light hearted but has an important message about growing up. That's under 5 hours. This for sure classic is it. I also will say Kim Mai Guest is a sweet sound voice for Kiki and a grate Narrator.
Witch Cute and makes you feel young again.
4/5 Pumpkins 🎃🎃🎃🎃

Nora the Wannabe Alchemist Developed by Error 300
Okay I know it says Alchemist BUT Nora and the other charters in the game just scream witch or witchy. She gets thrown out of witchcraft school and is living at her grandma’s house. Nora needs to learn how to grow plants (flowers, fruits, etc.) and making potions. I was looking for something to fit the theme of Witchy ness for the Witch themed post review I wanted to do for October but had a hard time finding a good witchy game that wasn’t to Old (like my fav Sabrina teenage witch computer games witch are 25 years old) and something that wasn’t to scary.
Nora needs allot of help in her very fall/ autumn feeling town. She lives in a fairytale book village, town, it’s very cute. Nora wants to learn positions and study as much as she can. She has a cute pointy hat and she ready to be the best. Even if her past has giving her allot of issues, I think she actually just misunderstood. I feel the simple point and click is very familiar to me and the simple growing and managing inventory is just cozy.
I do feel like I’m missing out on the hype of this game and in the hype of fallowing its development. I never played it on the pc or as an app, I got mine on the Nintendo switch store as digital copy also as a two for one sell. So it was fairly cheap and I got another game, so it was truly a win. I will say I did kind forget I got this game, but I did go out of my way to play as much as I could one rainy afternoon.
The town you can explore reminds me of earthy, fairy tale, and gnome vibes. Once you get so far you can customize her house (so cute). The descriptions for positions and some of the plants are funny, cute, or head turning. Like huh is that a good thing or not LOL. Love a good sense of humor. The people are all very interesting in both art design and dialogue they give.
THE ART. That’s what more or less broke the need to review this. I loved the Art. It dose remind me of old pc games but also the wonderful colors with the designs looking cartoon but not sloppy. Gold locks and three bears vibe mixed with old monkeys island. Or just very kids like. Imaginative.
It’s a game for all ages, its cozy, if you like time management, fall like harvesting, plants, or the thought of crafting positions then Helping Nora become an Alchemist is for you. I think because it’s a cheep fairly short game its over locked but I would say don’t sleep on it for something that’s just so nostalgic and refreshing in coziness. Nora truly is the highlight though as someone so positive. Even when this should be her darkest times being kicked out of school. Also I want her hat, its pointy patchy and has flowers in the buckle rim.
I give it 3/5 Pumpkins

Why three if I praise it? I do feel that you can tell it’s a port to the switch with a bit of clunkiness, and there were parts in the beginning where I felt it was a bit too vague for my peanut brain to just understand what it wanted me to do. Granted I’ve had worse tutorials in life, I do think in this day in age if I’m confused with a point and clicker it gives me Mist trauma and I run away. That’s probably why I didn’t play it since I bought it. BUT once you understand the plants positions and the shop, you will be soaring. I will say this game isn’t fully finished or that’s why the developers note says on stem. SO if I get a good update to take the clunkiness out and maybe if it’s a bit easier to understand then it would go to a 4 and if the store had just a bit more depth or the characters that you come across along the way do then yeah 4 to 5 ish but for now, I do recommend but it dose have its flaws.

Over all I love Witch's of all kinds, good evil, cute, ugly, scary, fun. I hope you have a wonderful Halloween and If your going as a witch be a proud witch and if your Wiccan, Hope you have a lovely Samhain, be safe out there every one!
