I was tagged by @ofcedarandbone to share three fictional witches that I’d be if I were in a show or film!
So, I’d really love to join in with this game but I can only think of characters who aren’t technically witches. My media consumption is odd and very specific!
1- Silas Bell from The Spirit Bears its Teeth by AJ White
2- Anthony Lockwood from Lockwood & Co by Jonathan Stroud
3- Edwin Payne from Dead Boy Detectives (I guess I just relate to strange and ominous men that come from the 18-1900s?)
Like I said, none are technically witches but this was the best I could think of! Tagging @th3wr1t3r and @forgottensomewhere
Potion Stand Story DX, the expanded version of the short VN i put out last year, is now available on itch! ✨ The changelog can be found here. Major features include:
✦ More story content! ✦ Improved graphics & UI! (Like. SERIOUSLY IMPROVED.) ✦ One more ending! ✦ At least 300% more puns! ✦ New gameplay mechanics! ✦ A mouse! Somewhere. Good luck finding him.
You and your friend Elly are finally going to WitchCon, for sure this year!
There's just one problem... you're both totally broke witches, and it's going to take at least 4000G to pay for the tickets. (And transportation. And an inn room. And food.) Not to worry, though, Elly has a plan: set up shop outside the local dungeon and sell healing potions to passing adventurers. Through hard work, patience, and friendship, surely a couple of scrappy spellcasters like yourselves can turn 100 gold into enough cash to buy your tickets!
✦✧✦ Available now on itch.io!
One of my favorite lines in the whole game. I’ve never related to characters more than these two🫡
hut hut tour :3
We've been updating our UI to match our market stalls at the dock. Selling our creations (and stuff we found and foraged) on our stall, is one of the things I'm enjoying the most! We're currently working on a new mini game, where you perform magic to summon valuable items from the sea (like seaweed, pearls, shells). I thought there are enough fishing games out there, and this way no fish will be harmed, even imaginary 😇 These items then will of course be used for certain potions and charms that we craft, or sold at the market. We're getting close to finishing our demo!!! 💜 Hollowmoor is our indie game in development, you can wishlist it on Steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2026730/Hollowmoor/ 💜
I've been tagged by @elminx to share 6 photos from my phone...so here they are:
1. An offering to Eir and Hel.
2. Rain soaked calibrachoa.
3. Memorial for a roadkill raccoon.
4. Small shelf of things from friends (bought or gifted).
5. The moon.
6. My garden deer skull.
Tagging: @artbecausewhynot, @that-one-grey-witch, @magicalthirtygirl, @forgottensomewhere, and whoever else would like to participate.
witchy shuffle tag game 🔮
I love music, I love a good tag game, and I love witchcraft. So I decided to mix the three and make a witchy shuffle tag game!
Rules: Use whatever app you like to use for music, go to your library, put it on shuffle, and answer each question. When you're done tag a few people you wanna see answer!
(You can get up to 2 skips for each question because if you're anything like me, whale sounds won't feel like a good answer + if a question doesn't apply you can skip it or replace it with your version of the question!)
The song that comes on when you begin a spell:

The song that would summon you:

A theme song for your practice/craft:
A theme to describe your tools:
A song to describe your relationship with Spirits:
The song that plays when you do baneful work:

The song to play to banish you:
