Thrifted acorn candle container: now full of coins from different countries, small shells from my homeland, and an assortment of stream rocks.

Finished kimchi jar: now holding teeth from a baby deer killed by coyotes (I do still need to clean them).

Empty bottle from local vet clinic: now holding May 2026 full moon enhanced Storm Water from last year and this last winter (featuring astrophyllite crystal).

Finished maple syrup bottle: coffee beans.

Finished maple cream jar: Shadow Thoughts jar.

Finished candle jar: (very old) dried flowers.

So, I’d really love to join in with this game but I can only think of characters who aren’t technically witches. My media consumption is odd and very specific!

2. What's your favorite element to work with if you work with elements?

Earth, for sure! I am an earth soul all the way through. Grounding, connection, protection; earth has me covered. I try to remember to balance it, work consciously with the other elements, but earth is my heart and soul.

12. Do you like to play as a mage/spellcaster/wizard/[insert other magical class here] in video games?

I don't play video games. I like some board games but they don't have those kind of characters/gameplay.

17. How do you like to restore your energy?

Reading, TV, cheese, and, most importantly, time alone!

#6 - Do you carry any good luck charms/talismans on you? How did you get them if so?

i believe so! a while ago i did a spell to enchant a necklace charm my mother gave to me, intended to help ease my anxiety and help with my lack of confidence/nervousness in social settings! anytime i go somewhere i might get overwhelmed, stressed, or overly shy i bring it with me <3

i also have a few pieces of jewelry dedicated to artemis (bracelets, necklaces, earrings) and anytime i want to embody and bring her energy with me somewhere i wear those too! i usually get them at places like the renfaire or witchy stores. but as for things like that, thats really it!!

3. i was raised in a very religion - free household, my parents have always wanted me to make my own decisions in that area. it wasn't until i was much older that i found out that my father is Buddhist. through this i would say that it's very much a mix of scientific and spiritual beliefs. one main 'spiritual' belief i have is that everything happens as it should, and it works out for everyone just as it should.

12. growing up i always felt connected to each element, at all times. i loved camping in the forest, i loved swimming in the rivers and lakes, i loved the wind that would blow my hair, and i loved staring into the flames of a bonfire (somewhat concerningly). however since then, only one element has really stuck - saltwater. i began to feel more and more attracted to the ocean and less and less by its freshwater counterparts. sooo i would say saltwater.

2. this is an interesting question, and kind of relates back to the first one. i have thought about it, of course, but i've never been particularly drawn to one belief of after life. i would say the one that i would be most drawn to is the Buddhist view of rebirth. the idea of flowing energy between lives seems the most likely to me.

5. yes, very strongly. your dreams are the manifestation of your subconscious minds' true thinkings and knowledge. if you remember your dream, you were certainly meant to, and there is often meaning in nonsense.

Another secret third thing - neither!

I don't actually do a lot of tool-driven divination in my practice. I have my personal runes and my tarot and oracle decks, but the majority of my prognostication comes from omens in the natural world.

And for those about to ask how I recognize them, I made my own system with various local animals and specified that omens must be something that grabs my attention in a deliberate way, not just the random appearance of a thing. I also generally don't consider something a sign unless I've asked for one.

It's been pretty effective for the delivery of messages and for helping lower my anxiety over whether something is or is not a sign. Add to that some baseline knowledge about animal behavior, plant life cycles, and weather patterns, and there are days when I can make some scary-accurate predictions, as least on a local level.
