Here’s some pics of the moon phase ring collection, in the dark and in daylight. 

Moon phases are a constant reminder of time passing and life cycle: while the sun and other stars take seasons to noticeably change their position in the sky, the moon evolves every night and completes its cycle in about a month.

This is one of the reasons why many myths and religions link this celestial corpse, more than any other, to the concepts of life growing and cyclic nature.

If I had to choose a favorite moon phase at the present time, I’d say it’s the waxing crescent: the first sheen, promising the light of a full moon, after the dark wait of the new moon.
