Hallway Conversations - Kent & Carrie
"I've heard something interesting today." A brunette told the female that was next to her. "Apparently, Sir Kent would be hiding something from everyone." She added.
"Well duh! No one knows a lot about him, of course he hides a lot of things from everyone." The dark-haired female commented.
"Not in that way!" The brunette said, a little louder. "I heard he has kind of a double life. And I'm sure it has to do with that blond girl he sometimes hold hands with! He better not be dating her!"
The two girls were young, probably no more than eighteen. They were standing in the middle of a hallway, waiting to meet with Kent who was normally guarding this part of the castle. They were nobles daughter from the castle, and like many people from Caelin, they cared a lot, probably too much, about Caelin's steward; Kent. He had become quite a concern from the kingdom's nobles, who wanted to see him do something else than work.
"I don't think he would ever date this girl, I mean, she's not even from Caelin. He couldn't do that to us." The black-haired girl added, concerned about what her friend said. And when the brunette was about to add something, the black-haired girl whispered. "Shhhh, look, here she comes. Do you think she heard us?"
And with that, the two girls watched Carrie walked by with smug looks.
Lying Was The Best Option - Kent & Carrie
Carrie had been out with Lyn. While they were having a girl day out, Kent stayed in Caelin with Mark. They talked about things, drank a bit and played chess. Their boy day 'in' hadn't been bad at all. Since he was dating Carrie, Kent was taking many more days off, and he didn't really know how he felt about not working as much as he did before.
When Lyn and Carrie came back, both of the couples went in their rooms, so they could have a private moment at the end of the day. Kent sat on the edge of the bed. "So, did you have a good time with Lady Lyndis?" He simply asked, as Carrie didn't seem very much happy of her day out. Thankfully though she seemed very happy to be back here with him. Kent couldn't help but feel glad about this fact.
Romantic Kidnapping - Carrie & Kent
It was a warm end of day in Caelin. The evening was about to start. The sky was turning pink, as the sun was slowly setting. The atmosphere was perfect, and Kent's mindset was too. He was finally ready. He was determined to free himself. He would tell Carrie everything about his past, and ask her if she was okay to help him move on from it, he was going to ask her if she was still willing to stick with him after that.
Such determination was unfamiliar to Kent, but for once he was thinking of his happiness, and of Carrie's and he was believing for once, that their happiness could become one only.
Carrie was still in class at that time, and Kent was having that same feeling he had with his previous girlfriend. He wanted to break some rules, and surprise her. Therefore, Kent bursted in her class and politely asked the teacher if he allowed Carrie to leave the class.
He was planning on bringing her to the castle's rooftop, which stairs access was very close to Kent's room.
Let's Call This A Show - Mark, Lyn, Kent & Carrie
Kent had sent a message to Sacae. Caelin wouldn't mind having the help of a swordswoman and a tactician for what was going to happen. There was a group of bandits rumored to cause an uprising in the days to come. And Kent knew he couldn't risk the lies of all the kingdom knights. He had dealt with this kind of matter already, but it seemed to be a little harder this time.
Hopefully, Mark agreed to help, and Lyn did as well. Kent also brought Carrie along. She had gotten better and having a healer among a small legion was always useful. The battle had been tough but in the end, they managed to succeed. Kent had a large cut on his abdomen and he went to find Carrie to ask her if she could heal it. Kent would find Mark and Lyn afterwards.
