i just saw someone say that since time flows a little differently for legolas than it does for aragorn so he’ll disappear for years at a time and I can’t help but think that legolas reappears and immediately wants to know all the gossip from the past few years once he realizes how long it’s been in human time. Like “yes yes i missed you more than the sun misses flowers in the winter etc etc… now catch me up”

I just want to scream this into the world:

People drift apart all the time!

Friendships, family, acquaintances, that guy you went to kindergarten with.

It's a totally normal part of the human experience. You can be super tight and best friends for years and then, even unprompted, drift apart, hang out less, and spend more time with other people or by yourself. It doesn't mean you're not friends at all. If you're getting closer to another friend B, it doesn't mean they "stole" you or that it's done maliciously, or that you have to compare everything to friend A.

Unfortunately for Jensen and Jared, their friendship has been on screen and online for 20 years now. People sitting behind digital screens and keyboards can type whatever the fuck they want. They'll analyze any joke, any look and any interaction, and then rant about it. "Jensen is so mean to Jared", "Misha made Jensen hate Jared", "Jensen and Jared are actual brothers, Misha isn't even a lead and Jensen hates him" etc.

None of us are claiming they're no-contant. They are still friends. They joke around. They have fun. Yes, all three of them, even if they drifted apart a bit, and even if two of them seem tighter now. Don't be so fucking salty.

I don't think I'll be mentally stable for the second season 3 special. All things considered. But also I've just been rewatching the last part of the episode and each time it hurts just the same which is great really.

When I was doing the dress rehearsal for a play, I was playing Juliet In R+J, I had a dress on with two slits up the front, so it's like one bit of fabric down the back, one down the front yeah? I was supposed to be dead at this point in the lovely dress and was picked up off the floor and placed on something else. The dude who picked up my legs didn't grab on to the bottom piece of fabric, so it just fell straight to the floor, exposing my ass to literally everyone on the sides (the whole cast was watching from the stalls) I was wearing a tiny thong. I felt like a dog at crufts. My entire ass area was just out on display while I had to pretend to be dead. I kept my cool until the curtain call. I had to laugh to keep from crying. I sternly told the dude he had to pick up tHe BoTtoM pIeCe of thE DreSs with my ankles. And to make it worse at the time I was madly in love with a fellow cast member who got a great view of my ass unceremoniously gliding past him.
