I keep wanting to write a cute little local theme park Steddie AU but all my brain can conjure up is Eddie tricking everyone he can to go into those squirrel cage rides with him.

The ones you can spin.

(Eddie is very good at making them spin.)

He tears through the Party and most of the related older teenagers despite elder Hellfire warnings, until he finally gets Steve to go with him--

And Steve is not only fine--but Steve knows how to spin the cages *faster*

Eddie's far too delighted to care hes been dethroned. Hes making Steve go on the ride with him over and over, demanding Steve teach him how to do it and Steve, completely and entirely unaffected by the ride because God clearly has his favorites, does.

(It takes Eddie four tries to kiss Steve on the lips when all is said and done, and hed be mad about that except he finally figured out Steve's method.)

2. What’s your preferred setup for size difference? En Mass shrinking? Magic? Something else?

Magic for sure, I almost never do sci-fi sizey stuff lmao, nothing against it just stems from my preference for fantasy settings and all that. most of the time I don't even really have a setup there is just inherent size-difference through different races/species lol (fairies, sprites, giants etc). but yeah even when i do something like shrinking or growing whatever I use magic for it (Gabriel for example who is big bc of a spell (sorry buddy))

10. What kind of sizey character dynamics do you LOVE?

I got this one earlier in this post but i'll just do it again with a different answer cuz why not LMAO so yeah another thing I love abt size difference (another common trope but like. whatever) is just the angst that comes with being perceived, like when ur an outlier, giant or tiny, there is this sense of 'oh god everyone is looking at me'. i feel like this is a setup that could make any sense of compassion or kindness in a sizey dynamic extra sweet to me, like a tiny up close tracing the contours of a giant's face or a giant holding a tiny close and studying their features. kinda overcoming this self consciousness that comes from being indiscernible as a tiny or obtrusive as a giant. also they kiss or smthn idk
