So small secret, ‘With Regret’ used to be a governess longing story from Shamrock where she was his governess, but I went a different route for a couple of reasons. A big one was that the age difference and the power dynamic wasn’t quite ringing well with me. He probably would’ve needed to start with a very young (and the reader was too much older). He seemed too smart (and arrogant) to need one as a teen.

Anyhow, this is fine. Writing is fun. Mostly.

an old mutual was wondering how I was doing and somehow a few people reached out to tell them about me and it’s been making me feel strangely emotional .. I don’t talk to those people, I didn’t know people thought about me. It’s been years and somehow people still think about me.. it’s strange .. but it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one remembering the past
