So I was Considering the new page, as one does, and how it might relate to Zimmy, when I was struck by the imagery: Loup is sitting in open jaws of wood and stone. It seems to me like this is some sort of physical representation of the Court/Woods dichotomy with the Court being stone and the Woods being the wood, and the jaws maybe being the danger each poses.
But it was really this that struck me:
One of the teeth is missing. It’s been replaced by rock, as well, which probably symbolizes the Court.
However. You know what currently in the Court, hidden in a canid body?
Coyote’s Tooth.
We’ve known for a couple chapters now that Loup is looking for the Tooth, even if he doesn’t know what it is, and this is just making me think we’ll be seeing the Tooth again reeeaaal soon.
