Fabian was tired-usually was after getting off work. It had been a double shift, and St Mungo’s was never actually quiet. It made the time pass quickly, but they were always drained at the end of a shift. Instead of back to their flat, however, they took the floo to the Leaky Cauldron, spotting Ted already at a table. “Sorry I’m late,” they said, sliding into the seat across from him and offering their friend the brightest smile they could muster. Exhausted they might be, seeing their friend was worth the longer day. “Please tell me you already ordered me a pint? I don’t want to get back up yet,” they said with a slight groan, their body protesting at the thought of moving any time soon.
