Getting a laugh out of his antics, giving Effali moments of normalcy in the midst of all the chaos, dancing to near hearing damage levels of loud music

🚬 - Do they smoke? How often?

As a teen he was a pretty prevalent smoker, but due to his near god complex level of ego at the time leading him to genuinely believe he was Built Different™, he decided to quit cold turkey right before [REDACTED] and had a pretty miserable month about it. His pride about that fact has kept him clean since.

He's of course been tempted more than once to pick it back up, especially recently, but fuck dude he's got a kid now and he's not going to be the one to expose her to second hand smoke, and he'll punch you in the teeth if you are.

🍽️ - What’s their favorite food? How often do they eat it?

Anything communal like fondue or hot pot, the socialization makes everything taste 10x better, but he doesn't really get the opportunity for that these nights.

Next best thing is pork fried rice drenched in soy sauce and yum-yum sauce. He tries to treat himself (and Effali) to it at least once or twice a perigree, more if there's a nice cheap place somewhere they can stay for more than a few nights.

💝 - What gestures do they really appreciate? How do you get on their good side?

First things first, you gotta like her boss. Enemies of Damath are also enemies of Amarys, that's just how it be when you're a bodyguard.

But apart from that, she's pretty easy to get along with. She enjoys a good conversation and being treated like she belongs as part of the group and isn't just 'The Help' (which is a very common sentiment she experiences, being a jadeblood bodyguard surrounded by seadwellers), and she loves being personally invited to social events of both the formal and informal variety.

She doesn't expect to be treated like her own person given what career she has pursued and doesn't feel bad when she is only seen as The Bodyguard by others, so it really does go a long way for her when people are actually interested in her as a person.

💫 Linnae will sing or hum lullabies to himself if he's feeling distressed or lonely, as that's what Nemone's servants would do for him back when he lived in captivity. More often than not he'll hum the melodies, because he doesn't remember the lyrics as well, nor does he know the names of any of the songs to look them up (which he would likely struggle to be able to read anyway).

💫 Given that he likes blind box toys, he has a knockoff Labubu in his possession. He knows absolutely nothing about the culture or memes around it and how nuts people get over those things, he just saw one in a store, thought it looked kinda cute and funny, and bought it. It's face is kinda crooked and it's got a massive fivehead, but he doesn't know or care about the difference between his fake and the real ones.
