Weird to me that the first four Isle kids brought over were supposed to be the ones who needed help the most, but the second four seemed like very safe choices. Celia clearly has a good relationship with her father and seems fairly well-adjusted. Dizzy is a sugar cupcake pixie whose primary Isle "mischief" is cutting hair and using spray paint too liberally. And there's no way Smee is the worst dad on the Isle. The half second clip we get of him with his sons seems very gentle and caring. So just in general I find it interesting that Ben was like "go big or go home" and the actual VKs were like "who are the most harmless middle schoolers I can find? welcome to Auradon"

i know i haven't been online much lately and i've been ignoring/replying late to everyone's messages. i've got a lot of family trouble going on at the moment, and i'm having to cover other people's shifts at work (people keep taking days off and my boss has made it very clear that she has plenty of other people who can do my job if i don't meet her demands- i know this isn't good but i need the money and i have no other options) as i did today, so my schedule is off and half the time i'm too tired or ill to interact with y'all or make posts. i also have studies to keep up with, so my time is increasingly limited. i'm not planning to delete or take a hiatus, but i felt like i should explain my weird and irregular absences. i'll be answering all my outstanding asks tomorrow; if there's anything really urgent drop me a message and i'll do my best to get back to you as soon as possible. sorry.

YOU KNOW ANON ,   i   do   think   about   this   a   lot   .   we   do   know   that   in   the   movie   canon   ,   veronica   shoots   off   his   left   middle   finger   .   this   however   does   not   occur   in   the   musical   as   she   shoots   him   in   the   stomach   instead   .   as   i   see   it   ,   i   can   go   FOUR   different   ways   .   the   FIRST   one   would   be   ignoring   the   movie   and   following   the   musical   here   ,   all   fingers   safe   and   sound   .   the   SECOND   one   would   be   that   his   finger   is   actually   taken   from   the   scene   ,   considered   still   viable   and   then   he   later   on   undergoes   finger   reattachment   surgery .   THIRD   one   ,   his   finger   is   no   longer   viable   and   jd   turns   to   a   finger   prosthesis   like   THIS   ,   which   basically   would   make  it   seem   like   he’s   always   wearing   a   ring   .   and   finally   ,   FOURTH   ,   in   which   he   doesn’t   do   anything   and   is   left   with   a   stump   on   his   left   hand   .

now   ,   i   don’t   like   extremes   so   personally   i   wouldn’t   go   with   either   option   one   nor   four   ,   but   that’s   just   me   ,   maybe   other   people   would   consider   those   best   for   their   characterization   .   i’m   still   ,   however   somewhat   stuck   between   option   two  and   three   .   that   way   the   trauma   of   getting   his   finger   blown   off   remains   yet   it   isn’t   as   catastrophic   .

so   ,   dearest   nonnie   and    dearest   readers   ,   if   you   are   seeing   this   feel   free   to   let   me   know   which   one   you   might   think   it’s   better   .   otherwise  i’d   say    i   might   just   have   to   experiment   with   both   options   on   his   post   -   canon   verse   .
