Israeli spyware on your phone
A report from digital rights group SMEX suggests that Samsung smartphones in the Middle East and North Africa come preloaded with an unremovable spyware app called Aura, developed by Israeli firm IronSource.
The software, integrated through Samsung system updates, reportedly gathers sensitive personal data such as biometrics and location information without user consent, posing major privacy and security risks.
