This is because Robin started dating Nancy and moved into her off-campus apartment before the start of the semester. She has been loaning her dorm to Steve after his parents kicked him out, and that’s who is sleeping on the twin bed next to Eddie all semester.
Eddie is completely and totally in love with this Robin guy and he keeps telling Gareth about how much he’s in love with Robin Buckley.
