it’s far from a question that’s plagued otabek day and night, but he’s still curious. he’d spent years away from his family, rarely spending more than one year in a singular nation before moving again. but that was also a side effect of him being from a nation like kazakhstan, where skating just isn’t a thing that people commonly do. and especially for the younger skaters, he isn’t quite sure just how usual his story is.
