"An offal way to go? That's not proper use of the term offal! Not even as a pun!" A-hah! That is what you think! But, you see, that merely reflects your unfamiliarity with acid drakes! This is an acid drake. As you can see, they are not much to look at. They do not even look very much like reptiles, do they! Well, that is because they are not reptiles! In fact, the reason they are classed as drakes is -because- they are not reptiles, but are in fact more akin to sea cucumbers! Land sea cucumbers! That fly! Because wizards! Acid drakes are of research importance for two reasons. The first, obviously, given their name, is their acid. It is one of the strongest acids known to wizard kind. Their stalls (and myself, of course), are specially enchanted to take care of this matter. Their acid is so strong that the acid drakes themselves are not completely immune to it! It has a lessened effect on bone, but that does not help acid drakes as they do not have any! The only reason they do not digest themselves to death from the inside is because of their fantastic, amazing, incredible regenerative capabilities! However, as a result of this, they get extremely bloated over time before they finally get around to discharging their excrement. When they finally do, they are not only passing their former meals, but anywhere from two to five sets of their own, partially-digested internal organs! Suffice to say, acid drake dung IS offal! Or contains it, at any rate!
Anyone remember Wickergon?
Well, too bad.
(Anyone wondering wtf, I was volunteering at a zoo cleaning up after farm animals when I decided to make this character, so there. I actually wrote this up back then and never got around to doing anything with it)
