Wizard headcanon:
Wizard take great pride in their beards, so wizarding schools are strictly monitoring their students.
They became such a symbol that different grades and years can be guessed by the length of their bears.
Spells has even been created to allow members of species unable to grow to take part in the tradition.
These spells are used as contraband by older students toward younger ones whom would want to seem older or more advanced than they truly are.
Master of the arts have even begun to trim or braid their beards in specific ways that can now be an indicator of which speciality one may be of.
A system is being created by graduating students and specialists of the art of The Beard, to allow, with one look at one's beard, understanding over how proficient one may be with different kind of magics and which one, or ones, are their speciality.
