 “I know.”, but thats how people were. they changed throughout all the years. no one ever stayed the same. our body changed, we got wrinkles and got grey hair: our personality changed due maturing and perhaps something tragic happening to us. that’s how it was and always would have been and we couldn’t do anything about it. “We can’t put people into a box to prevent them from changing who they are just because we are afraid of the possibility of not liking them anymore once that happens. but it’s in our nature to change.”, neither of them could stay hurt forever and both needed to find ways to move on without really complaining about it. “they change for a reason and the only thing there’s left to do is to accept it. nothing will bring the person we grew to love back once their mind is settled on something else.”  

”And that’s the part where we have to learn how to love ourselves, because things won’t always go our way, right?” she beams, fairly interested at the insights of the other, admiring his show of openmindedness. Somehow, talking to a stranger on a late night over instant food and by the common tables of a convenience store seemed comforting. “I used to be quite bitter too, before I left for Seoul. But on my time somewhere else, I was able to contemplate on a lot of things and now my bitterness doesn’t bother me anymore, because just as people change, we also change, and we learn how to adapt to circumstances.” she pauses to drink for a while, and then extends her clean hand. “I’m Hyo, by the way!”
